Submitted by lpiggin on Sat, 2023-03-25 19:14We held our Beginner & Advanced fly casting lessons with FFI certified instructor Drew Alway of Always Fly Casting https://alwaysflycasting.com/ . We held two 2 hour sessions for Club Members at the Henry Grube Centre grass area. Weather turned out great (I’ll take credit for that…lol). Pizza from Pizza 64 for lunch. Lessons & comradery were excellent. I hope to have sessions like this each year.

March Monthly Meeting/Fly Tying 101
Submitted by lpiggin on Thu, 2023-03-23 13:57Twenty seven attended our March dinner meeting that was held at the Shanghi Mandarin Restaurant. Our Lake Assessment Committee made a report to the Membership prior to our meeting with our Senior & Small Fish Biologists. We also asked our Members to identify the four Trout Strains that are current stocked in Region 3 lakes. Pennask, Horsefly, Fraser, Valley, and Blackwater. Go Fish B. C. is an excellent resource for stocking & species information.
Soon we will get that feeling
